Narrative Medicine Journals and Resources

In our low res MFA program at Dominican University we have an optional track in Narrative Medicine. This is broadly conceived as writing about health and healing. I am often sharing recourses with writers interested in this field, so I’ll share some here.

Our Heart Speaks is a website  devoted to sharing patient stories. 

The Hippocrates Initiative for Poetry and Medicine is an international forum to connect poetry and medicine.

There is a Health Humanities Listserve run by the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. It has all sort of postings of events and opportunities related to Narrative Medicine. Sign up here.
