Lunch Poems

Robert Hass invited me to read in the Lunch Poems series at UC Berkeley. Soon after, I found myself as a visiting writer at Dokkyo University in Saitama. They too host a Lunch Poems series, called LunchPoems@Dokkyo, based on the reading series at Berkeley. It was started by Shigeyoshi Hara, a wonderful scholar of California poetry.
